As Vice President of Business Development for NebraskaLink, Jason Axthelm is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales and new business and oversees all aspects of business line growth. In this role, he works to educate new and existing customers about NebraskaLink and helps craft the best solutions for their broadband infrastructure needs. With customer care as his primary concern, he provides support to clients from the initial discovery phase until services are turned up by NebraskaLink’s dedicated team.
Jason began working for NebraskaLink in 2013 as Director of Planning and Carrier Relations where he worked to identify opportunities for business growth and was responsible for Outside Plant Operations. With more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Jason worked in a variety of roles for Consolidated Companies, Inc. including Chief Technology Officer prior to joining NebraskaLink. At Consolidated, he gained experience in a wide variety technologies as well as the implementation and management of telecommunications services.
Jason attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he majored in Telecommunications Management He and his wife Sharon live in Brady, Nebraska with their two children.
