Bob is the Managing Director of Parana River Group, a consultancy focused on Internet-focused technology solutions that serve unique and developing market segments. The Parana River team has deep expertise across the entire life cycle of identifying, planning, executing, operating and growing technology solutions.
Bob has over 20 years of leadership, strategy and technology implementation experience. He has served in variety of roles including Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategy with Education Networks of America, PSINet and Telalink Corporation. His ability to bring innovative and emerging technologies to customers is influenced by his participation and leadership in national associations including the Schools, Health, Libraries Coalition (SHLB), Internet2 and StateNets.
His successes include growing companies, taking them from start-ups to larger, mature businesses, as well as leading legacy entities through transformational change to meet market demands. Bob understands product, business and technology development. He has integrated new technologies and solutions into existing environments resulting in a more efficient and reliable approach, and has been responsible for large-scale service deployments to over 5,500 customers in 30+ states.
